Bulaluhan sa Espana

Craving for a hot bulalo yet Tagaytay is too far from your place and Dencio's own bulalo is quite pricey? Then let me introduce to you Manila's very own "BULALUHAN SA ESPANA".

Restaurant name: BULALUHAN SA ESPANA

Location: Along Espana, just after Blumentritt Espana. It is inside a small compound which used to be the old LTO bldg. It is also beside Meralco. A lot of taxi drivers know this place (just tell them: Along Espana, old LTO bldg.) and is a favorite of people from different walks of life.

Address: #2166 Beta Bldg. Espana Cor. Josefina St. Sampaloc Manila

Type: Semi-canteen/ Open area

Menu:
Bulalo (which comes in two variants: nilagang bulalo-special and sinigang bulalo-regular)
Inihaw na Liempo
Chicharong bulaklak
Inihaw na Hito
Kaldereta
and many more

Price:
For the Special bulalo- P110
For the Regular bulalo- P60 or P70
Liempo- P40
chicharon bulaklak- P32
Rice- P6

Ambience:
Moderately noisy people and servers rushing to and fro.
Television to keep people entertained
Open area- smokers are seated usually outside
Comfort room- tho' i havent gone to it
Utensils- soak in hot water

Tip:
You can ask for rounds of unlimited soup.
Put lots of red chili in the mixture of soy sauce and calamansi.
Bring towellette(?), hot soup, hot sauce and warm place, you will be really sweaty.
I prefer to sit outside, it's pretty cool outside at night.

I will be posting some pics so that you'll get to see the place and the food.

xoxo,

imahopper
